Similar in appearance (and in several other ways) to Succubi, Zvlienge are a race of creatures from Igzul, a particularly odd plane of existence. Though they are most often chaotic, their alignments can vary as vastly as that of normal mortals.

Zvlienge extract the energy of mortals to nourish themselves through acts of intimacy. However, their particular nature allows the Zvlienge to replenish its energy as well as that of its partner, leaving them invigorated. Many tales exist that pin the existence of so-called "dens of hedonism" upon Zvlienge - and given their nature and tendency to work in such locales, it doesn't seem unlikely. They're also noted as having a particular like for jewelry and shiny objects, keeping the former on their person (often covering more than their scant clothing) and the latter in a hidden hoard, of sorts.

Zvlienge are hardy as well as comely, and though they prefer subtle trickery or maneuvering over outright fighting, they can handle themselves should it come down to such. They use their charisma and abilities to avoid battle as much as possible.

Energy Hold (Su)

A Zvlienge engaged in an act of intimacy with a mortal may choose to temporarily hold a portion of that mortal's energy; its body then begins to reshape and strengthen the efficacy of the energy received. This act is harmless to their partner for its duration, and lasts only as long as the act remains. Upon the conclusion of the act, a Zvlienge may choose to return any amount of that energy to their partner. If they choose not to, the Zvlienge bestows one negative level on its recipient. If the Zvlienge chooses to bestow more of the repurposed energy than a mortal requires, the Zvlienge bestows a boon on its recipient. The boon varies from Zvlienge to Zvlienge, but almost always manifests at least in part by leaving them invigorated, as though they were at their absolute prime.

Spell-Like Abilities

At will—charm monster (DC 22), detect thoughts (DC 20), ethereal jaunt (self plus 50 pounds of objects only), suggestion (DC 21), greater teleport (self plus 50 pounds of objects only). Caster level 12th. The save DCs are Charisma-based.

Change Shape (Su)

A Zvlienge can assume the form of any Small or Medium humanoid.

Tongues (Su)

A Zvlienge has a permanent tongues ability (as the spell, caster level 12th). Zvlienge usually use verbal communication with mortals.

Telepathy (Su)

A Zvlienge may speak telepathically with any willing recipient (similar to Telepathic Bond, but without requiring a bond). Zvlienge rarely use this ability, and usually use it for strategy when they do.
